Were you in S6 in January 2020 or 2021? Thought your Oswestry days were over … cruelly snatched away by a pandemic? Think again! From the 15th to 23rd July 2022 SUMMER.IS.BACK!!
And back with a bang to make up for lost camp time with ‘Equip’. In a tale as old as time you can expect absolute classic Oswestry camp memories to be made across the week as we enjoy taking on some adventures together, chilling out, lots of singing as well as going deep into studying God’s Word and tackling some of the big issues you face in today’s culture. Haven’t you missed this??! We can’t wait to spend the week with you!
Team Leader, EQUIP
As a Highland girl from Invergordon currently living and working in Glasgow, Carina can be seen embracing all that the best City in Scotland has to offer while also yearning to be beside the sea.
Her main interests in life include; being excited for food, sleeping but also being awake, telling anyone who will listen that football & tennis are the best sports and drinking coffee. But above all of these is a passion of the gospel of Jesus Christ and a desire to encourage and enable young adults to be rooted in the word so their faith will flourish as a light in a dark place.
Having a terrible memory, Carina can’t give you an exact number of FCYC camps she has attended, whether as a camper or a leader, but she knows it’s a few and is excited to make an Oswestry return as a team leader of Equip.
TEAM LEADER, EQUIP
Originally from Stornoway, Ally Studied Physics in Glasgow and now teaches Maths in Edinburgh. He previously worked with UCCF and as a Ministry Associate at Chalmers Church in Edinburgh.
He’s been involved with FCYC for 15 years (mostly at Football and Oswestry Senior) as both a camper and a leader, and they’ve played a big part in his Christian life. He’s passionate about working with young people and seeing them grow in their knowledge of Jesus and his word.
In his spare time, Ally loves playing football & rugby, cooking for friends, watching films, and keeping up with pro wrestling (he knows it’s not real!)
